Congratulation
to whboone's Cleveland Indians on defeating bperkins' San Francisco
Giants 4-2 to take home the franchise's first World Series. After dropping the
first two games of the series in San Francisco, the Indians won the next four
games. It was the Indians first trip to the World Series since season 10.
Whboone had this to say following the Game 6 victory "While I got a WS
ring in Ford, this was the league that always mattered the most, so this means
a lot."
The Indians' Victor Mieses put up some big numbers during
this postseason, hitting .356 with 5 homers and 17 RBI.
